"You are Victoria, right? The nanny of the mayor’s son." Aiden grinned at the blond girl infront of him. Her blue eyes looked unimpressed in his while she tightened her grip around her bag.
"Well, Yes. That’s me. And you must be this mischievous business partner of Mr. Gold." Her eyes were stern. No fear, no emotion hid in her glance and this made her even more insteresting for him. Almost everyone in this town was afraid of him and Gold but she wasn’t.
"Oh, I’m not so mischievous. Only to people who are trying to betray me." He explained with a charming grin.
"Wow, Henry is right. You are really like this guy" She never really believed Henry when he talked about his childish theory. But Aiden could be him. The way everybody was afraid of him was the most obvious sign.
"He thinks that every resident here is a fairytale character and you are Loki. You know, the norse god of mischief."
"Oh, this kid has lof of imagination. And, if you allow me to ask, who are you?" Now Aiden could see clearly how her beautiful face got a pink color and she avoided to look into his eyes. He must chuckled about her cute try not to answer the question.
"Someone Loki should know?"
"Actually, Yes. But you don’t need to know who." And with that she turned around and walked away, leaving him here without any kind of goodybe. Victoria mentally shoke her head thousand of times. Why the hell thought Henry she would be the wife of this person? She didn’t even liked him.
Or she didn’t wanted to admit it.
